The focus of my research in history of science is Charles Darwin, his work and his family.

I am particularly intrested in his wife, Emma Wedgwood and her family. I have written a book about her.

In 2019 worked on the new edition of the first Italian edition of On the Origin of Species (1864) and I wrote an introduction to the book.​
